I swear that I just blogged yesterday...ok maybe its been a little longer than that! Seriously, where did the time go? We have been so busy, that these last couple months have just flown by! Here is a quick update of whats been happening with the Casper's.
Ashton is finishing his last class and will officially graduate in 2 weeks! YAY! He has also started a new job with a company called Prodigy Promos. They are a company that supplies promotional items for large companies around the world. Ashton is an account manager and handles several of these companies accounts. **So if you ever need any marketing products for your company... Ash is your man! He can get you any item you want with your logo printed on the item.**
I guess thats been our excitement or should I say adjustment for the last couple weeks! We have just been so used to our flexible schedules and being able to meet for lunch, get off early to go golfing, take a quick trip to St. George, or whatever we feel like doing that Ashton's new schedule is putting a damper on some of those things! Welcome to the real world right? Its been great and we are excited to move on to our next phase in life!
I am of course still working at Sage Creek Salon. I have been there for almost 7 years can you believe that! I love it! My job has been very good to us and I feel so blessed everyday to do something that I love and have a passion for! I am still in the young womens and loving every minute of it! Between work and young womens my weeks are crazy! I wouldn't have it any other way!
We went to Lake Powell a couple weeks ago. We were looking forward to some fun in the sun and we got nothing but rain! BIG BUMMER! So we are excited for summer and the warmer weather! We don't have much planned but definitely some weekends to St. George (any takers?) to get our sun fix, hopefully a visit from my nieces and nephew, and then anything that might pop up in between!
As you can see we're doing great and hope you are all too!

Spring Break!
My family and I just got home from our spring break to Palm Springs! We had the best time! How can you beat 90 degree weather, laying by the pool, golfing(boys), and watching tennis! I don't think you can! I have forgotten how much I love tennis. My husband has got me on this one track mind frame and that is golf so it was so fun to step off the track for a minute and watch some serious tennis! We got to see them all Roddick, Nadal , Federer, the Bryans, Safina, Azrenka, and the list goes on! We even caught a few celebrity sightings Gwen Stefani, Chistine Taylor, Jim Cavisal(Spell?) that's always an added bonus. We pretty much just relaxed and enjoyed the warm weather and of course each others company! Loves to my fam and thanks mom and dad for a wonderful trip!

I'm Back!!
HOLY COW... its been forever! We are still alive! We have just been going going going since thanksgiving and haven't stopped! Instead of writing a huge long post of what we've been doing I'll just give you a little recap and a slide show instead how about that?!
Thanksgiving- spent it with my family in Salt lake/Provo... tons of family, tons of fun!!!
Trip to Florida- Totally last minute trip! Went with some of Ash's family (dad, brother, grandpa & grandma) for the annual father-son golf tournament. I brought my little sis McCall with me so I could have a lay out buddy!! We had a blast! I think I want to move there!!
Christmas- Spent it here in Springville with Ashton's family. We froze in all the yucky snow storms but of course still had an incredible time with all of his extended family (on his mom's side) that flew in from California and Las Vegas.
New Years- We were in St.George. The holidays wouldn't have been complete if we didn't go down to beautiful sunny St. George to see my family! We had the best time ever just being with my family especially Scott, Katie, Maddie, and Bella. We only got to be with them for about 24 hours but we'll take what we can get! We had a great time golfing, hot tubing, bowling, playing cards, and just being together! It was so hard to come home!
We are now just back to the usual. I'm staying very busy working, serving in Young Womens...still ( I Love It!), and just everyday stuff. Ash is in his last semester at UVU and will graduate in April YAHOO! We love you all and are so grateful for wonderful family and friends and we hope you all have started your new year out with a bang!!

Halloween!!
Halloween schmalloween... that's about as good as I feel about Halloween! I'm just not a big fan, never really have been! I do have to admit there have been a couple years I've had fun(college) but those days are long gone! Maybe those fun years will come again when we have kids. Halloween is definitely a kid holiday. Needless to say Ash and I did dress up for a party the weekend before Halloween and it was ok. Ash loved every minute of it(of course) so I had to post the pics! Ash is wearing one of his very own custom handmade tied-dyed shirts! He is so proud of it and told me if any of you would like one for yourself he would make you one for a small cost!:) Anyway Halloween day was fun we hung with family, took little cousins trick or treating, went to the Omniture party(my uncle works there, it was pretty much amazing...I've never seen anything like it), and welcomed home my grandparents from there mission in Washington D.C.! We had a fun day but glad its over! Now we can get excited for Thanksgiving! (my favorite holiday)

SURPRISE!!
Ash and I just got home from an incredible family vacation! Ashton's family started planning this vacation a couple months ago when they found out the exact date Mason(ashton's bro) was to return home from his mission in Chili. After much thought, planning, and swearing on our entire life that we could keep a secret we(or should I say they) decided that Ashton's parents and sister would go pick him up in Chili and then the rest of the fam(ash, me, 2 little brothers, and grams) would meet them a few days later in New York for the big SURPRISE! Yes this is where "the keeping a secret" comes in. Mason had no clue that we were going to be in New York when he arrived. He was so shocked and it was so fun to surprise him and to see the look on his face as he stepped out of the elevator at the hotel and we were all just sitting there! It was the perfect reunion after the long awaited 2 years of being gone. We stayed in NY for 5 days just shopping, site seeing, going to Wicked of course, and just being there with Mase was such a blast!
Ash and I also went to Washington D.C. since we were going back east anyway. We thought we take advantage and go see my grandparents who are living there right now and are serving as the temple presidents. We went there prior to going to NY and it was so much fun! Ash had never been there so we of course did all the touristy things...monuments, museums, cemeteries, white house, you name it we did it! We of course had the opportunity to go to the temple with my grandparents! I can't even describe was a special experience that was and what incredible people they are. The hard work and long hours they put in every single day at that temple serving our Heavenly Father is amazing! I hope one day I can be just like them!
I can't even pick what my favorite part about D.C. was because it was all incredible....but I have to say cute little Reese was definitely a highlight!!!(and Taryn too!) It was so fun to see Taryn and Reese and I'm so glad it worked out! We had a fabulous day at the natural history museum and shopping at Georgetown! Reese loved it all and couldn't stop smiling the entire time! Her favorite part in the museum was the gem/diamond section she loved the sparkling jewels and she just wanted to touch them! What do ya know she's taking after her aunt Lauren! Thanks Tar for being our tour guide and taxi driver...It was so good to see you! We love you and miss you already(ash can't stop talking about Reese! I love it!)
As you can see we had a great time! We are so blessed to have such wonderful family and friends to make and share these great memories with!

"Vanquish"
Ash and I headed down to Lake Powell for one last vaca before he started school. We went with my cousins the Lindquist's and we had a blast! They just had the "Vanquish" built and put on the lake about a month ago. It is the most beautiful, biggest, nicest, and luxurious houseboats I've ever been on! Lets just say its probably nicer than my own house! We had so much fun fishing, hiking, jet skiing, tubing, knee boarding, wake boarding, and my favorite surfing! You name it we did it! There is nothing like a trip where you literally bask in the sun all day, relax and read a book, watch the olympics(yes on the houseboat!), eat yummy food, and occasionally shower! We loved every minute of it! Thanks Shawn and Natalie we had an amazing time with you and your family. We love you so much and can't wait til next summer!(that is if we get the invite...hint hint!)
